Dr. Ralph Palmer Gilhooly is our principal dentist, and qualified from The University of Wales College of Medicine in 1990 where he worked as part of the research and teaching staff. He also worked at an implant teaching centre before taking over this practice in 2000. Ralph is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology, and not suprisingly lists implants among his areas of special interests along with cosmetic dentistry and root canal treatment. Outside of the practice Ralph enjoys art, painting, skiing, golf and talking! He even admits to having a school report card which says "teaching Ralph is easy, but it would be much easier if I could get a word in!" But don't worry - as a dentist he has also learnt the art of learning to listen as well, and will always take the time to discuss any concerns his patients may have.
